Bad breath is a common problem faced by almost everyone. Though some people are more prone to getting bad breath quite often. If you will drink plenty of water all throughout the day then your mouth will not become dry. Make a habit of flush your mouth well every time you eat something. This way the food particles that are stuck in your teeth and gums will get removed. The food particles that remain in your mouth can add to the problem of bad breath. 

The doctors advise drinking 8 to 10 glasses per day too. Your food should also be well balanced with fresh vegetables and fruits. Eating those fruits that have good water contains is very helpful to prevent bad breath. Maintain proper oral hygiene that should include two times brushing your teeth and once in a week flossing. Those who eat less vegetables and fruits and eat lots of meat are more prone to getting bad breath. Hence make sure that you reduce your intake of red meat and increase eating fruits and vegetables. Avoid eating processed food items, as they can harm your teeth and gums. Along with giving you relief from bad breath this will help in keeping your body healthy.

The bacterial infection is the main cause of bad breath. Bacteria present in your mouth can grow if it gets dry surrounding. Hence in order to decrease the bacterial growth in your mouth, you will need to keep your mouth moist. In order to prevent the halitosis breath you can also avoid eating foods like onions and garlic. In case you are eating these two things then make sure that you clean your mouth nicely after eating them. Brush your teeth and gargle your mouth after every eating. The bad breath problem can also be prevented if you will avoid eating the snacks that you keep on munching while watching television or while reading. You can ask your kids to eat fruits instead of munching on the snacks. Tell the importance of following a good oral hygiene.
