The ulcers appear as pinhead size in the initial phase and slowly grow and unite with other small size ulcers. The ulcers can be as large as pea. The ulcers that are fully developed cause more pain and the person can get temporary relief from the pain by using some antibacterial mouthwash. Even though there is no fixed treatment for treating mouth grill, ulcers there are several drugs that the dentist will give you to cure the pain.
The dentist will observe your ulcer carefully and will give you some ointment that you are supposed to apply directly on the ulcers. The use of antibiotic mouthwashes is also must all throughout the day. These all precautions you will need to take till the time the ulcers and grill are fully vanished. If you will leave the treatment incomplete then there are high chances that the ulcers can reappear in near future. The treatment if completed will reduce the chances of getting mouth grill, ulcers in future. There are certain kinds of ulcers that develop in the oral mucous membrane. These ulcers are known as Traumatic ulcers in medical terms.
Traumatic ulcers can be caused due to you accidentally biting the mucosa or due to hurting it while brushing your teeth or due to injury to the mucosa due to some external irritant. In common terms these ulcers are known as sore spots. These kinds of spots appear on the outside border of the tongue, on the lips, on the palate and on the buccal mucosa. Hence avoid eating in a hurry or brushing your teeth by applying lots of pressure.
