• With the help of eyebrow comb or a brush, comb your eyebrows. You can make use of baby toothbrush to comb the eyebrow hairs. Doing this will show you the natural shape of the eyebrows.
• Apply astringent over the skin below the eyebrows. Look at your eyebrows in mirror but make sure that you are not standing too close or too far from the mirror. There should be enough lights in the area where you are planning to do the eyebrow waxing.
• To know the exact length of your eyebrow, hold a ruler in parallel with your nose and level it with the inner corner of the eye. This is the point from where your eyebrow should begin. Deciding the starting point of the eyebrow is very important and hence don’t hurry and take your time. In case both your eyebrows are very close to each other, you can easily make the gap between the two wide.
• For deciding the point where your eyebrow curve will be, you can hold the ruler from the nostril edge towards the outer edge of the iris. Now with the help of eyebrow pencil, make dots and design the shape that you will like to give to your eyebrow. Be realistic and decide the shape for your eyebrow.
• Keep the tub of wax in boiling water and allow it to become thin. Then with the help of spatula, apply thin layer of wax on the extra growth of your eyebrows. Make sure that you don’t drop the hot wax anywhere else on your face. Be careful of your eyes while applying the wax on your eyebrows. You are supposed to apply the wax in the same direction as that of the hair growth.
• Before the applied wax becomes dry, place a cotton muslin cloth over it and pull it in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Be sure that you are waxing the unwanted hairs. While pulling the cloth, hold the eye carefully and tightly with other hand.
• Initially you will find it quite messy and difficult to manage kind of method but with practice you will feel much comfortable in shaping your eyebrows using eyebrow waxing method.
• The best way is to deal one hair at a time so that you don’t end up loosing wanted hairs from your eyebrow. Once you are done with the waxing and removing the unwanted hair, wash your eyebrow and apply tea tree oil on the eyebrows. This will give soothing feeling and the pain of plucking the hair will subside soon.
