Then by trial and error method, you yourself can select the best matching and suitable foundation for you. You can even take some trial in the makeup selling shop, if they have that facility. If so, then apply some foundation on your neck or jaw line. You should never check the foundation on your hands, as the skin tone of your hands is very different from that of your face.
How to apply foundation so as to avoid getting the patches on the face?
In case you are using brush to apply foundation then you can apply the foundation with very much ease and it will also blend into your skin color properly. But make sure that your brush is not hard or you will end up damaging your skin. For this reason make sure that you change your brush frequently and don’t share it with anybody else. Applying foundation with brush is preferred by most of the women, as it is convenient and effective.
You can also apply foundation on your face, using a sponge. Sponge is soft and thus it will not damage your skin. It will help the foundation to blend easily with the skin tone and it will be less messy too. Many women use their fingers to apply foundation thinking why to waste money on buying brush and sponge but applying with fingers is very messy and it requires more hard work to blend the foundation using fingers.
