- Instead of doing the facial one or two days before the wedding, do it about 15 days in advance before your marriage. The actual glow comes after two weeks of doing the facial. Hence make sure you go for facial in 8 to 10 days in advance.
- If you have pimples or any kind of other rashes, then consult a skin specialist and take proper treatment for it. Don’t fall prey to using any chemical based products that guarantee to give you pimple free skin, as they might aggravate the problem instead of solving it.
- To do your eyebrows, visit your beauty saloon a week in advance. For many women after doing the eyebrows the area near the eyebrows become red and swollen. To avoid happening this to you on your wedding day, do the eyebrows about a week in advance.
- Make sure that your wedding makeup is not loud and it look perfect with whatever you and your partner are wearing. In case your wedding is in summer or you are having a beach wedding make sure that you do waterproof makeup.
- While choosing the lipstick, be sure that the lipstick is long lasting and remains as it is for six to eight hours. You can apply some dry powder after applying lipstick and after that you can give one more layer of lipstick on your lips.
- It is better have a rehearsal of your wedding makeup before the actual D- day. This will help you decide whether you are happy with the look that you will have on your wedding day.
- You can keep lipstick, powder and mascara in your hand bag and carry it with you, so that you can give some touch ups if the need arises to do so.
