Dark Circles

A dark circle under eyes is a common problem faced by many men and women. With growing age dark circles start showing below the eyes but many youngsters also have dark circles due to wrong eating habits, lack of sleep, lots of stress and many such reasons. Mostly women find these dark circles very troublesome and that is why they try to hide these dark circles by trying various makeup tricks. Women also try various beauty products and creams in order to get rid from dark circles. No doubt that under eyes dark circles make you look unattractive and it is also right to get rid form them. But make sure that you try natural things first, as these natural remedies are free of cost and don’t have any side effects on your skin. Here are various home remedies for dark circles.

  1. Water is very essential in keeping the skin moist and thus prevents it from drying. Dry skin is the number one cause of various skin related problems. If you will drink plenty of water throughout the day, then you will find the dark circles reducing on its own.
  2. Rose water is also very effective in reducing the dark circles under the eyes. Soak cotton ball in rose water and apply it on the closed eye. You can keep the cotton ball soaked in rose water on your eyes for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Almond oil is effective in tightening the skin and activates the cells around the eyes. Applying almond oil on the dark circles will reduce the dark circles. Mix almond oil and honey in equal amounts and apply it on the dark circles and keep it for about 10 minutes then wash it off. Doing this treatment daily will give cure from dark circles.
  4. Include cabbage, sprouts, kiwi fruit and all other food items that are rich source of vitamin K. Vitamin k is very effective in treating the damaged capillaries around the eyes.
  5. Vitamin C is also very beneficial for the health of skin. Mix grated cucumber and half teaspoon lemon juice and apply it on the dark circles. This pack is rich in vitamin C and thus prevents free radicals damage from the skin.
  6. Placing thin potato slice on the closed eyes can cure dark circles below the eyes. Do this daily for about 10 minutes, as it is very effective in treating dark circles.
  7. Keep some tea bags in refrigerator and then place these cold tea bags on your eyes. Remove the tea bags after 15 minutes and wash your eyes. Do this daily for getting fast recovery from dark circles.
  8. Regular sleep is also important to cure the under eye dark circles that are caused due to lack of sleep.
  9. Crush some fresh mint leaves and apply it on the dark circles for getting rid from dark circles.
