Combination Skin

For people with oily skin and combination skin taking care of their skin is really a big task. Due to their skin texture they find it really hard to have a clean and soft skin. Many women who have combination skin prefer using a cleanser, as it removes the excess of oil from their skin. Cleansers are effective in managing the oily skin without making the skin too dry. It is very important to choose a proper cleanser that will give you clean skin without making it appear dry.

In market there are several products that are good for taking care of combination skin. You should not buy those products, which have fragrances and added chemicals in them. The products with fragrances and chemicals are not at all suitable for sensitive and allergy prone skin. The excessive use of chemicals can cause blemishes and spots on your face. There are other products that are specially made for sensitive skin, which includes toners. Even people with combination skin can use toners two times a day. One application of the toner should be before going to bed in the nighttime.

Oily skin and combination skin both are prone to having pimples and hence while applying any kind of cosmetics or creams on your face, you should be careful. There are various natural creams that include all natural ingredients and have no side effects on your skin. You skin needs to remain hydrated and hence make sure you drink plenty of water. You can use creams that are prepared for day and night application for getting extra dose of moisturizer. Make sure to use a sunscreen lotion with SPF 25 when stepping out in the sun.

Combination skin is a mixture of dry skin and oily skin; hence you will need to follow the guidelines for dry skin as well as guidelines for oily skin. Many women have normally dry skin and only oily part on their face is the nose, chin and the forehead. This area is referred as T-zone area. Hence such kind of combination skin requires different kind of care. You are supposed to wash the oily area that is the T-zone with non-oily face wash two times in a day. You can also apply astringent on this area once in a week. But make sure that you don’t apply it on the dry part of your skin.

In combination skin the areas that are dry needs lots of moisture to remain normal. The dry parts on your face can be your cheeks and neck. If you will apply moisturizer on these dry skin parts then soon your skin will look soft and smooth. You can also try facial masks to treat the combination skin. Here two you will need to apply two different types of facial masks, one for treating the oily skin and other for treating the dry skin. In market such facial masks are easily available. Make sure to purchase the creams and products keeping in mind the two different requirements of your skin.
