You might know that there are some types of skin like oily skin, dry skin, combination skin, normal skin and sensitive skin. But you will not be sure about how to find what kind of skin you have. Without knowing your skin type, it is not at all possible to take good skin care. That is to know your skin type is the key to have a beautiful and healthy skin. If you are healthy from within then your skin will also look good and vice versa. Among all the skin types normal skin is considered as easy to maintain and problem free skin type.
If your skin is normal then your skin will not be too oily or too dry. It will be smooth and firm along with small pores. But in case you have dry skin, then you will feel your face tight and you can easily develop chapped skin. With growing age, you will start getting aging signs soon on your skin. While if you have oily skin then you will have various skin problems like blackheads, acne along with large pores. When you will touch your skin, you will find it sticky. If you have combination skin then the T-zone area that is your nose, chin and forehead will appear oily and other face parts will appear dry. Hence to know your skin type you will need to observe your skin carefully.
Know your skin type –
Normal Skin – Only few lucky people have normal skin, which includes babies and young kids and few adults. Your skin will be soft to touch and free of any spots or blemishes. Your skin texture and skin color will be even throughout. If you belong to this skin type then congrats! But still don’t ignore your skin care and follow it to improve your skin.
Oily Skin – Oily skin look shiny and elastic. Blackheads, acnes and other blemishes can occur freely on this kind of skin. But with proper care you can manage to keep your skin acne and blackheads free. But if not taken care properly can look pale and dull. But there is on advantage of having oily skin and it is that you will not get wrinkles and fine lines soon. Many people with oily skin are there who have not seen these aging signs.
Dry Skin – Tighter skin and scaly and flakey to touch. The skin looks grey and pink in color. If you will apply some unsuitable cosmetics on dry skin, the skin will react adversely. Your skin will have no spots but needs to be moisturized well. You will need to wear sunscreen throughout the year to protect your skin from ultraviolet rays.
Combination Skin – If you have combination skin then your skin will be oily at some places (nose, chin and forehead) while dry at some places. You are prone to have blemishes and acne on nose, chin and forehead. You will have dry patches on other parts of the face. Your cheeks will feel tighter after you wash your face. You will need to trat the oily and dry areas differently to have a healthy skin.
