This process in which the scrubs are used on the skin is called as exfoliation and it is a necessity of the skin to get proper scrubbing. There are many body scrubs available in the market and many of them are cost effective too. But in case you don’t want to spend anything on scrubs then at home also you can prepare scrubs and use them.
Oatmeal, cornmeal, brown sugar, Epsom salt and white sugar are some of the ingredients that can help you in preparing the homemade scrubs. You can mix any of these ingredients either with oil, butter or any liquid soap. Scrubs will keep your skin pores clean by removing the dirt and dead cells from your skin. Scrubs are very effective in removing the deeply planted dirt and toxins too. After scrubbing your skin will look soft and radiant. The scrubs are also effective in removing the blackheads.
To prepare the salt scrub, you will need one-cup salt, one-cup oil and few drops of some odor. To make the scrub first take one-cup slat and add about half cup oil, mix well. Then as per the consistency you desire to make the scrub add more oil. Add the odor at last. Mix it well and store it in any bottle. While using this scrub make sure to shake the bottle well as the slat and the oil will get separated inside the bottle. You should be careful while adding the odor as more drops of any scent can cause skin irritation. You can add mint, lime, apricot or almonds as per your liking.
Scrubs are very effective in skincare and hence make sure to use them at least twice in a week. You should be gentle while applying the scrubs on your face or you may end of peeling your skin. If you have oily skin, then you should use the scrubs prepared only for the oily skin. To prepare the scrub take about 4 tablespoon of chickpea powder, half teaspoon of turmeric powder, few drops of rose water and few drops of milk. Make a thick paste using these ingredients. You can use this scrub all over your body to get the clean and clear skin.
