Skin Care

In order to look good, you should take good care of your skin. Skin type and skin color may be different for different people but skin care is same for all. It is must for you to protect your skin from getting damaged due to ultraviolet rays and pollutants. If you will take overall care of your body then there are high chances of you never getting any kind of skin problems. As you grow in age, there are several changes that keep on happening in your internal and external body system. If you have taken good skin care then your skin will never reveal your age. In short you will look younger as you grow in age.

Like many other people you might also not be giving proper time for skin care. Due to lack of time or due to laziness, you always try to avoid taking care of your skin and the day finally comes when you no longer feel good to look at you in mirror. For good healthy and smooth skin, you will need to take proper skin care. There are 4 main and basic steps for skin care. These four steps will not consume your time and will provide you the healthy, glowing skin. Hence nothing will be lost if you spend half an hour daily for your skin care.

Four basic steps for skin care -

  1. Cleansing – Buy a good quality cleanser that suits your skin. There are cleaners available in market that are prepared keeping in mind different skin types. Hence select the cleanser that is prepared for your skin type. Cleansers are very effective in removing the makeup; dirt and dust form your skin. If you will not clean your skin properly then these dirt, dust and makeup particles will settle down in the open pores on your skin and this could be the beginning of pimples and other blemishes on your skin. Wash your skin well before going to bed in nighttime. After applying the cleanser on your face, wash it off with water. But be aware as over-cleansing can remove the entire moisture from your skin and thus will make the skin look dull.
  1. Scrubbing – Many women forgot this second step of skin care. But scrubbing is very important part of overall skin care. Make sure that you use scrubs at least once in a week, as it helps to remove the dead skin form the face and thus keeps the skin looking young and fresh. Buy good quality scrubs and use them gently on your skin to remove the dead skin. Rubbing with force can damage your skin and hence make sure that you have applied less pressure while scrubbing.
  1. Toning – Toners are helpful in removing the traces of oil, dirt and makeup form your skin and thus help is cleaning the skin thoroughly. If you think that your cleanser is good enough to remove the dirt and makeup particles, then you can skip using toners. But still toners are very effective in cleaning your skin, so nothing will be lost in case you include them in your skin care routine.
  1. Moisturizing – Your skin looses moisturizer and hence appear dry and lifeless. To avoid this you can apply moisturizing lotion before going to bed in the nighttime or after having bath. This way your skin will be well nourished. But here too make sure that you don’t over moisturize your skin or else your skin will appear oily.
