Birthmarks are proud marks for some people while some people find these birthmarks as ugly things. - Strawberry Naevi marks are red in color and they might appear little swollen. These marks come in the age of two to three weeks and grow in size by 6 to 9 months.
Treatment for birthmarks -
As mentioned above the stork bites will not need any kind of treatment. In case your baby has strawberry marks then it can be cured by steroid creams but in extreme cases there will be only one option and that is laser treatment. Port wine marks can be removed with the help of laser treatment and there is no other possible treatment for treating these birthmarks. It is always beneficial to go for the laser treatments as early as possible. The laser treatment can be taken once your child completes his or her second birthday.
Many people whose parents have not taken initiative in removing their birthmarks are still suffering from these marks. But such people have the option of cosmetic procedure to remove their birthmarks. Many people who want to get rid of their birthmarks don’t do so just to look attractive or just to improve certain feature. They just want to be comfortable with their body and that does why they want to get rid of such marks. Laser treatments for removing the birthmarks is still the most popular method and many people like to treat most of their skin problems like acne, blemishes with lasers. Up to six setting will be required to remove the birthmarks completely.
