Freckles are a skin condition in which the flat, round spots of melanin appear on the human skin in people who have fair skin. The constant exposure to sunlight is responsible for causing freckles. 2. Lentigines – These are small in size and can be tan, brown or black in color. These spots appear darker than those which appear in ephelides type of freckles. These freckles will not become fainter in winter.

Infants and adults don’t have any risks of getting this skin condition. The people belonging to the age group of 16 years to 50 years are the main target for this skin condition.

Causes of Freckles -
