IN this skin condition the patches can appear again as there is no proper treatment for curing this condition. The red and itchy patches can be cured but there is no assurance that these patches will not appear again.

Dry skin, emotional stress and trauma and streptococcal infection can be the possible causes of psoriasis. The abnormalities in immune system are also responsible for causing psoriasis. Psoriasis can be caused due to heredity reasons and it can run in families. Hence your chances of getting this skin condition are more if your forefathers had this condition. But psoriasis can skip one generation and hence if your grandfather had it then your father will not have it but you might get affected with psoriasis.
