Conditioning Rinses- Lemon juice, vinegar, or beer helps to methodically take away soap and conditioner residue. They swell the keratin layer making the hair glossy and smooth. An egg yolk additional to the rinse gives it a natural protein and sulphur boost. Use an essential oil in the rinse as the eggy smell tends to linger. Yoghurt can be used also as it logically softens the hair.
Lightening Rinses- Use chamomile tea, marigold tea, or onion juice to brighten blonde hair. Rhubarb root is a normal yellow hair dye. Ceylonese black tea brings out golden highlights. Use lemon juice rinse, then dry hair in the sun for a likely bleach. Keep in mind to not let the head get too hot.
Darkening Rinses- Using rosemary, sage, bhringaraj, and brahmi rinses and oils will darken and bring luster to the hair.
For Red High Lights- Use hennas powder. A large assortment of natural hennas is commercially available, red through natural. Always test henna on a tiny strip of hair before using. The effect of henna can be especially strong on blonde or grey hair. The acid of lemon juice or vinegar will reinforce the dying effect. Henna mixed with black coffee or burgundy wine will make a darker, richer color.
