Buy prepared taco shells (simply pre-folded, pre-toasted corn tortillas). Or make your own tacos using yellow or blue corn tortillas, warm them on both sides on an oiled skillet for Vatta and Pitta, by warming them rapidly. Cook more slowly at lower heat on an unoiled, non-stick pan to get them crispy for Kapha. Filling should include beans and shredded raw vegetables for certain, and then any of the garnishes listed above. Unless heavily garnished with cheese, yogurt, sour cream or salsa, in which case it is mildly + Vata. |
