For example, gardening, cleaning, going to a religious place, join some social activity club or a sports club, where the person can meet many people and interact with them.
There are depression support groups where a person can enroll and meet other people. There are groups that provide online support to persons suffering from depression. These depression support groups have chat rooms and discussion boards where a person suffering from depression can discuss his or her problem. These depression support groups also provide a platform to meet other people who once suffered from depression and have successfully overcome it. There are various help centers that provide assistance to people with depression.
