Lack of sleep, working for long hours, drinking less water and staying hungry for long time can also cause primary headaches in you.

2. Secondary Headache – Secondary headaches are an indication that you might be having some or the kind of ailments like brain tumor, hypertension, flu, etc. In this kind of headaches you will have severe headache pains along with other symptoms like nausea, vomiting, increased sensitivity to light, sound and smell, lack of concentration and increased irritability.

Among all the types of headaches the stress headaches or tension headaches are the most common ones and more than ninety percent of people suffer from this worldwide. Such types of headache pains are more common in women than men. Migraine headaches are also a common type of headache that affects children, teenagers and adults. After the age of puberty more women than men suffer from this type of headaches.
