Itching commonly known as pruritis is a skin disorder that is a cause which occurs by impurity in blood stream. Itching may be localized i.e. in a particular area or general i.e. on whole body. Itching can also be contagious and easily spreads to the surrounding areas. Itching n localized area may be due to insect bite or string where as systemic itching occurs due to certain infection and impurities in the blood stream.

- Apply aloe vera and cod liver oil on the affected part helps in preventing itching.
- Apply Vicks vapor on the affected area on the helps in removing itching.
- Apply a paste of coconut oil mixed with lime juice on the affected area.
- a cup of white vinegar is added to the bath tub and then it is used for bathing
- regularly use a moisturizer to avoid drying of skin
- decreases salt consumption as this helps in reducing itching
- Apply vitamin E to get rid of itching.
- washing the affected part with the warm water provides immediate relief from itching
- Paste of baking soda and water is good remedy for avoiding itching when applied in the affected part.
