Multiple pregnancy can be very exciting thing but there are various complications that can arise during such pregnancies that it makes the lady carrying the multiple pregnancy feel more worried than exciting. Multiple pregnancy complications are quite normal during multiple pregnancies, as there is more than one baby growing inside the womb. It is said that those who had history of multiple pregnancies in their family have more chances of having multiple pregnancy. But it is not necessary as there are women who had twin pregnancy even though no one else ever had it in their family. Woman who is pregnant in her forties have more chances of multiple pregnancy.
It is quite difficult to look after the babies produced through multiple pregnancies. Plus there are many other multiple pregnancy complications throughout the pregnancy. Many women who get confirmation about their multiple pregnancies find it hard to believe that they will produce more than one baby; they worry about how they will have the strength to carry multiple babies and how they will handle their babies with their own weak health post delivery. During the early stage of your pregnancy you will have the same pregnancy symptoms like with other moms who carry single babies but only the symptoms will be more intense.
It is natural to feel nauseous during pregnancy but for you the nausea will be terrible. Your doctor will advice you to visit them in case your body don’t allows you to eat or drink anything. The doctor will ask you to drink plenty of fluids so as to remain hydrated during pregnancy. Dehydration can lead to pre-term labor, which is again risky for the undeveloped babies. Multiple pregnancy complications are also associated with weight gain. If you will not gain proper weight then your babies will also be born unhealthy and then it will become critical case to look after the babies. And if your weight gain is more then it will be lead you to pre-term labor.
The growth of your stomach will be definitely bigger than compared with those who carry single baby. You will find it difficult to move or sleep, as you will progress from one stage to the other stage of the pregnancy. In short you will feel uncomfortable and breathless. Your fear will start increasing, s you reach near the due date of your pregnancy. You will have many sleepless nights before the pregnancy. After your delivery too, you will not get rest, as you will be required to look after your babies. This will make you frustrated and hence you will become short tempered by the time your babies come in this world.
Your visits to your doctor will be more, the money you will need to spend till the time you deliver the babies and bring them home will be much more than the single pregnancy. In case the weight of your newborn baby is less then again there will be more expenses. At home you will find it difficult to focus your attention on one baby. But whatever it is, due the various modern equipments it has become really easy for the doctors to handle multiple pregnancies with much more ease.
