Motherhood is a real blessing for women from God. It makes you feel great being women when you have the ability to create someone in your image and likeliness. The joy has no bounds when you get to hold your baby in your arms after carrying the baby in your tummy for about 9 months. But many women find it difficult to read the pregnancy symptoms. These symptoms are really helpful in knowing the way in which your baby is growing inside you body. As you know there are three main stages of pregnancy known as trimesters. In each stage the baby inside you goes to various changes. That is why your body shows different pregnancy symptoms in different stages.
Pregnancy Symptoms in First trimester – From conception to 12th week
From conception to the 12th week of pregnancy is the time, which is considered as first trimester. You will come to know about your pregnancy when you will miss your periods or have light spotting of pinkish brown color. In this trimester there are other pregnancy symptoms too like nausea, dark areolas, mood swings, headache, fatigue, heartburn and constipation.
Pregnancy Symptoms in Second trimester – 13th week to 26th week
The time from 13th week to 26th week is known as second trimester. In this stage you will have different pregnancy symptoms. This is the phase when you will start experiencing the frequent kicking movements of your baby. In this phase your body will start gaining weight fast. Your breasts will become bigger and you might also get some discharge form your nipples. The line between your navel and pubic area will also appear dark. There will also be some stretch marks on your tummy.
Pregnancy Symptoms in Third trimester – 26th week to 40th week
This is the last phase of pregnancy and that means your baby is coming in your hands very soon. This is the time when your body gets ready for the delivery. In this phase your baby will be also properly developed with all its organs working fine. The baby movements will be more and your navel will look little pushed out. The problem of backaches will be more too. You will feel breathless due to your heavy weight and due to the extra pressure that your baby will put on your chest. You will start getting irregular contractions at the end of this stage of pregnancy.
There is much more that is happening inside your body in each and every week. With little observation you can easily experience these changes occurring in your body. These pregnancy symptoms are same for all the pregnant women but the time of delivery can be anything. Some women might take all the 40 weeks to deliver while some can deliver anytime after 37th week. There is no guarantee that you will have normal delivery, if any complications arise in your pregnancy then you will need to undergo cesarean section. For those women who don’t get contractions even after the 40th week, the doctor will suggest to undergo cesarean operation.
