Pregnancy Week 32
In pregnancy week 32, your baby is about 4 pounds in weight and about 19 inches in height. Your baby's toenails and fingernails are well grown by now and you will see these nails once your baby comes in this world. In this week too, your baby will continue to grow and gain strength with each passing day. The blood circulation inside your body will be more as compared to the blood that used to circulate in your body before your pregnancy. In pregnancy week 32, the total blood circulation in your body is about 50% more than before. Your weight gain will happen fast now, at the rate of one pound per week. Due to the increased weight you will feel the shortness of breath more now onwards.
In pregnancy week 32, take good rest and do as much less work as you can. In short avoid overexertion and take rest in the afternoon time too. You will have more backache, leg pains and even buttocks pain. You will need to be extra careful while walking, as due the shift in your center of gravity you might fall down otherwise. For those who are carrying twins, the size of their uterus will be very big; it will be of the same size as that of the 40th week singleton pregnancy. If you are having singleton pregnancy then in the 32nd week of your pregnancy then your uterus will be 5 inch above your belly button. The size of the uterus will keep on increasing and this may cause severe heartburn and indigestion. There will be shortness of breath too, most of the times of the day. To avoid getting heartburn and indigestion you will need to drink plenty of water.
Your food should also be containing fewer spices and oil or else you will get constipation and indigestion. With each passing day, your hips will also grow in size. This is for providing the proper support to your growing belly. The belly size will be really big for some women and it might cause various discomforts too. Lower back pain, leg cramps will be more in those who have gained very huge weight by now. Sleeping will also not give any comfort, as you will find it hard to change your positions in bed. As you are bulky in appearance, you will not fit in any other clothes rather than the maternity clothes. Maternity clothes are available in all sizes and hence you will definitely find something for you. These clothes are very comfortable, as they don’t fit too tightly surrounding your body.
