Some easy to follow home remedies for dry skin
Reduced oil production and secretion on the skin makes the skin dry and its symptoms start appearing. It is the most common around cheeks, eyes, thighs, lower arms, chest and neck. It occurs mostly during the rainy seasons and winters. The skin usually gets affected by hard water, wind and direct sunlight. Besides these environmental factors, lack of vitamins such as A, B and E also lead to dry skin. You can apply some home remedies at this time which are as given below-
Give a massage to your face with olive or almond oil every night. It is a good remedy for dry skin.
Avoid cleaning face with warm water even during winters. Use lukewarm water instead which is the best cleaning method for dry skin.
Apply the paste of half papaya, one banana and avocado on the face and allow it to dry for 15 minutes. Then wash the face with clean water. It will bring some good results.
Give a massage to the skin with grapeseed oil. It will remove the dry skin.
Take a ripe banana, mash it and apply on the neck and face. After leaving it for some time, wash your face with lukewarm water.
One of the simple and most effective remedy is to take one to two table spoon of rose water and mix it with the half spoon of honey. Apply this solution on the face, neck and all dry areas. It will clean the skin and your skin will start glowing.
Do a face massage with almond oil as it will make the skin soft and will remove dryness.
Cucumber is considered a natural moisturizer and thus good for dry skin.
You can also apply apple face pack. Take two to three apples, grind them to make a paste and apply it for twenty minutes.

Avoid taking coffee, tea and alcohol as they also make the skin dry. Do not wash the face many times. Do not use chemical soaps as they make the face dry and take away the natural oil. Start doing aerobics and yoga as these are natural ways to keep the skin healthy. Protect the face from pollution and harsh rays of sunlight. Learn to handle stress and find out some time for your own entertainment.
It will definitely have some positive effect on your skin. Always keep green plants at your place. Girls and women should also avoid too much of make up on their dry skin as it will make it further rough.
