Top home remedies for morning sickness
Morning sickness is the disease that occurs in about 90 percent of pregnant women starting in between third and fifth month of the pregnancy. Though, it is known as morning sickness, it may occur in the pregnant women throughout the day. It would be high during morning and less during the other half of the day. The symptoms are nausea and vomiting. Before starting of the second trimester you can use the below given simple homemade remedies to get some relief.
Eat at frequent times- Avoid keeping your stomach empty. Always keep something by your side. Make sure it is less sweet. Take small meals after a short-short interval of time. On an average, a pregnant lady should have six meals during a day which would keep her stomach full.
Start the day by eating- Eat some crackers or toast before getting out of bed. Do not jump on drinking anything; wait at least for twenty to thirty minutes after the food.
Liquid diet is good- At the time of pregnancy it is necessary to be hydrated. So, fluid intake is very important; sipping tea in the morning is safe and acts as a natural remedy against morning sickness.
Add complex carbohydrates- The food that are rich in starch are easy to digest and soothing also. Pasta, bread, food and potatoes are the foods that should be included in the diet.
Avoid spicy food- This is not the right time to try Thai food or anything spicy. You should take bland food instead.
Keep a distance from aggravating smells- The odor that makes one feel nausea should be avoided. Identify these smells and also those that make you feel good. You can keep a lime or peel of fresh lemon during nausea.
Ginger- There is nothing else better than ginger tea. Take few pieces of ginger and boil them in water. When water becomes half, let it cool and have it.
Peppermint oil- Take 500ml of the water, boil and then add peppermint oil. Cool it down and transfer it to another container and always keep this by the side of your bed. You will find its fragrance will have soothing effect.
Sour- Take sour pickles, grapefruit, green apples and lemons. They will provide relief during pregnancy.
Do not make sudden movements- At this stage the women should know to sit and stand carefully. Along with that it is also necessary to keep in mind that you should not have to change the posture quickly. Get up from the bed slowly.
Walking- exercises help to remove these signs or stop them permanently. Walking is an excellent exercise at this time. It is not only good for the body; it would be right if you consult your doctor before a task to not take any chance.
Brush- Take care of your teeth also. Make it a habit to brush your teeth after vomiting.
