Peptic ulcer is a situation which is formed by the erosion in intestinal tract and in stomach. Ulcer that occurs in stomach is known as gastric ulcer and ulcer in intestinal tract is called duodenal ulcer. Both the ulcers are associated with peptic ulcer.
